Legal Nurse Consulting Services provided by Laura Addison R.N. includes:

Organization of Records – Upon receiving copies of patient charts and other pertinent medical records (billing, pharmacy records, etc.), items will be organized and indexed in a neat and orderly fashion so they can be easily referenced as needed.

Chronology Preparation – After the medical documents are reviewed, a graphic table will be created describing dates, locations, and page content along with corresponding page numbers and LNC comments.

Case Analysis – This can either be a formal written report of the LNC’s relevant findings after research and review of the evidence provided by the legal team or just a verbal recommendation in regards to the strength of the case. Determination will also be made as to whether or not information is missing or alterations are suspected.

Literature Research – Medical literature from accurate and respectable sources will be provided as it relates to the case and the standards of care.  These articles will be concurrent with the time in which the event occurred. 

Expert Witness Search – A search for credible, competent, and knowledgeable experts from the medical field will be provided to assist in obtaining additional facts and acquiring an authoritative opinion.

Graphic Exhibit Creation – Slide show presentations and graphic displays can be created for effective exhibition during a case. Our in-house graphics design team provides exceptional graphic design services to facilitate your needs.

Witness Interviews – Upon reviewing the medical records, people of interest, including clients and caregivers, will be interviewed to get the full perspective of the case.  Anything that can be recalled which is not found in the chart can be extremely substantial.
